It was a typical task for me to get use to perforce but the tuturiols and videos provide by Prof. Ed helped me alot. I can't still get why its is called "preforce" instead of actually word "per-force" hope to get it soon.
I personally found perforce a good platform to work on if known properly, I thanks Depaul University to give us an opportunity to learn Global Software Development taught by Prof. Ed
As a part of first week assignment we had to do a small code on fibonacci series which was good thing to start with, I had many problem with perforce did the assignment in time but was not able to submit as I was not able to view my Student directory. Finally I found the solution for it in Hw2 where video tutorial helped me to recover delete directory from the perforce.
Hw2 was a simple assignment which personally helped me alot to understand the working of perforce. The first 9 submit were very easy in the later part it got quite difficult to implement branching but my team members at SICSR helped me to do it.
Over all I found this course interesting. Excited about what's instore for us in next coming weeks.
